Ci siamo lasciati così, più di un anno fa, con l Ci siamo lasciati così, più di un anno fa, con l'ultimo post. Era il 29 settembre 2021. Shùil ha compiuto due anni, e in occasione di questo anniversario ho deciso che era tempo di rompere questo silenzio e tornare a riprodurre musica. La mia musica. Torno a scrivere qui, su questa pagina, in prima persona, perché in fondo Shùil sono io, @alessiofelicioni_net. Stavolta scrivo in italiano, perché prendo leggermente le distanze da ciò che è stato contestualizzato al lancio e alla promozione del CD. La scelta di scrivere i testi in inglese non è mai stata messa in discussione e la comunicazione le si è adeguata sin da subito. Non che io rinneghi questa decisione, anzi: tornassi indietro lo rifarei. Semplicemente ora vorrei un rapporto "sereno", tra me (la mia musica) e voi, vorrei tornare a condividere ciò che è stato, è e sarà un pezzo importantissimo della mia crescita musicale (e non solo). Per oggi vi lascio così, con il singolo "A Man in Black", pubblicato il 14 gennaio del 2021. Vi do un momento per ricordarvi di Shùil, per riascoltarlo e farmi sapere cosa ne pensate. Raccolgo un po' di idee e, dai prossimi giorni, riprenderò a pubblicare degli estratti dal CD. Non ho pretese, se non quella di tenere alimentata la fiamma che mi ha portato a realizzare questa piccola, grande impresa. Cheers! After I (@alessiofelicioni_net) composed all the music parts (aside for the vocals), I started interfacing with @valeriofacose for the housekeeping of the orchestral parts, with @andrea_giovannoli for the drum tracks to be defined and with @mauroaspite for the composition of the voice lines. A process that took almost 3 months and ended up in @hologram_studio, where we recorded drums and vocals.
